Golden History Museums needs your money! We know, you do, too. But if you can find it in your wallet and your heart to send a little our way, we will use it carefully. We have been a a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization since 1998 and that means your donations to our museums are tax-deductible. If you would like to learn more about our finances, please look us up at guidestar.org or ask our Executive Director for a copy of our 990 tax filing.

Do you have an unwanted car, either clunker or treasure? Instead of selling, trading or storing your vehicle, you can make a donation to Golden History Museums and receive a tax deduction. Just call 1-800-833-3006 and say you want to donate a car to Golden History Museums. It is simple and easy, all the arrangements will be made for you, and you can even complete the process online.
• We accept cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, recreational vehicles, and campers.
• Free pickup. We will come to your house or office.
• Get an income tax deduction. We provide the documentation that you need for your records.

Your gift helps support Golden’s premier history museums. Together we keep the Astor House Museum, Clear Creek History Park, and the Golden History Center running smoothly for the 30,000 visitors who view our exhibits, participate in our hands-on programs or attend our special events each year. With your support we can continue to share the stories of the early Coloradans who made the Golden area their home.
